About CNC Railing Designs in Pakistan
Cut-panel railings have largely replaced turned balusters on new staircases in Pakistan. A single cut panel between a top and bottom rail is quicker to install, easier to clean, and gives a continuous pattern up the flight.
Railings are one place where safety rules the specification: the panel has to resist someone leaning on it, and gaps need to be small enough that a child cannot get through. Most fabricators use 2mm to 3mm sheet in a frame for this reason.
Staircase railings are usually quoted per square foot or per running foot of flight, so check which, because the two are not comparable, and a raked flight needs more material than its floor plan suggests.
Common questions
Is CNC railing priced per square foot or per running foot?
Both are used, which makes quotes hard to compare. Ask each fabricator to quote the same way, and confirm whether the stair flight is measured along the rake or along the floor.
Is a cut-panel railing safe for children?
It can be, but say so up front. Choose a pattern whose openings are small, and keep the design free of horizontal lines that make an easy ladder.
Stainless steel or mild steel for railings?
Mild steel with good primer and paint is the economical choice indoors. For outdoor balconies, and anywhere near the coast, stainless costs more but avoids the rust streaking that mild steel eventually shows.
